"I am not afraid of death," Sazed said. "It is, after all, just another part of life. Besides, it can't be that bad if I save one of you." He paused. "I'm the last Ferchemist, as far as I know. The Keepers were hunted, killed on sight. If I were to die fighting Abigail, it would be a far more noble way for the art of Ferchemy to die rather than by execution in a square."

Cat nodded slowly. "It sounds terrible in your 'world'..." She said in a soft voice. How strange, how could someone have the guts to kill another human being? Hell, even Cat sometimes had problems with even killing a demon!

"It has been that way for thousands of years," Sazed said. "My people have always been hunted and repressed. Those with Ferchemy killed to prevent the trait from being passed on. We are bred as servants, like dogs almost. A good number of us can't reproduce as well. Its all so that no one could use Ferchemy." He paused. "Lord Ruler didn't want any Ferchemist having children with an Allomancer, or any two people to pass it on to their children. Someone who can use both Allomancy and Ferchemy would be nearly unstoppable. Lord Ruler didn't want the competition."

Cat stayed completely silent before suddenly asking. "Do you think Lord Ruler is the man Dante heard talking to Abigail?" It might explain the other voice Dante talked about. She wouldn't be surprised if these two teamed up together for something. It wouldn't even suprise her if that man summoned Abigail.

Sazed sighed. "I don't know. If he is..." He shook his head. "Things will get nasty. Lord Ruler is the only one to be able to use both Allomancy and Ferchemy. He can't die. I've seen him stabbed and beaten by skaa before. But he never died."

Cat started to laugh. "That's what people said about Abigail before he got send back to Hell. Seems like we'll have fun beating these guys." She said playfully. She almost looked like Dante with that playful voice. Then she remembered Dante and Kelsier. "Shouldn't we stop them from drinking more?" She asked Vin slowly.

"Probably wise," Sazed said, sighing. Vin laughed. "I don't know if they'll listen."

Cat sighed deeply. "If we don't stop them, I don't think they'll be able to fight tomorrow." She got ready to shift to her cat form.

Sazed laughed. "Have fun." Vin rolled her eyes. "You too. This looks very fun."

Cat laughed lightly and shifted to her cat form. She walked out and towards the kitchen before jumping onto Kelsier's lap, pushing his hands with her head. "No more drinking for you two."

Dante suddenly grabbed her by the scruff. "Why do you have to be so mean?"

Cat flattened her ears against her furred skull. "You're drunk."

Kelsier grinned. "I think Kitty needs a drink." Vin groaned. "Kelsier, quit it." She took his bottle of wine and drained it for him. Kelsier looked distraught. "Vin!! That was mine!" "Not anymore. Quit it."

Cat turned her attention back to Dante. "How much did you drink?"

Dante shrugged. "Enough to have a pretty strong headache." Thankfully, Dante acted drunk very rarely so even now, he was trying to hold some of his dignity. Something really difficult for him.

Vin sighed. "Both of you get no more."

Dante glanced at Vin, still holding Cat by the scruff. "Now you sound like Cat. Both of you are annoying as hell."

Cat hissed at him. "Drunk or not, I will still claw your eyes out." Her fur fluffed up in anger.

Vin glared, giving a huff. She didn't look very threatening. "Stop drinking."

Cat suddenly kicked the last bottle out of Kelsier's hand. "No more drinking for you guys." Said in a somewhat sweet, taunting voice.

Kelsier sighed. "You guys are no fun at all."

"We're not fun when it comes to drinking, yes." She suddenly meowed loudly in surprise as Dante forced her to shift back to her human form. "What was that for?!"

Dante shrugged and rested his head on her shoulder. "No apparent reason at all."

Cat looked at him. "I swear if you start the flirting I'll knock you out."

Vin raised an eyebrow. "Dante, drop her."

Cat hissed at him as he looked in her eyes. "Ten seconds before I tear your eyes out."

Dante rolled his light blue eyes and let go of her. "You're no fun anymore." He ran a hand through his white hair.

Vin glared. "Do you know how stupid this is?"

"I can always knock them out." She said, cracking her pale knuckles.

Dante laughed at the catgirl. "You wouldn't do it. You don't have the guts." Hr smirked at her.

"We do have to fight tomorrow," Vin pointed out. "You obviously won't be up to it."

Dante started to laugh. "Come on, just because we're a little drunk we can't fight?"

Cat looked at him unimpressed. "A little? Should I point out at the bottles scattered around?"

"That's nothing sweetie," Kelsier said, holding up another bottle.
